Hi all! I did a animation of a simple to produce "portable efika-prototype" based on the already available thinclient+ a 7" screen. The stand-system is just a dummy but i used real dimensions during the Design of the caseparts, this means that this could be a easy to use base for further designs.

Hi i´m working on new papermodels based around 7" screens. I think you will notice the main difference compared to the "suitcase-design" ; )

I found yesterday a nice type of (T-)hinges which are used for a kind of antenna. This little thing makes it possible to rotate the screen in nearly all directions without touching the base. It could also be a solution for screenprotection.

here are some quick 2D drawings (its big, really big, its DIN A0 ; ) ) The dimensions i used for the screens are taken from Datasheets (Data-Modul.de) so if the conversation to PDF didn`t change anything the models should be 1by1.
